About
Lowitja Institute Health and Wellbeing Scholarships aim to support the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health researchers. Our scholarships contribute to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership of health research by providing opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to develop skills in areas relevant to meaningful health research.
Over the course of our scholarships program, Lowitja Institute has facilitated opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at all levels within the health research workforce and we have funded more than 160 students. These talented scholars have undertaken certificates, diplomas, cadetships, and higher degrees by research.
