Dr Sungwon Chang is a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Biostatistics) and Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney, with over 20 years of experience in public health and health services research. She specialises in applying biostatistics and epidemiology to improve healthcare outcomes. Dr Chang has supervised multiple PhD students, mentored early career researchers, and is deeply committed to enhancing the statistical skills of co-researchers. With more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and extensive international collaborations, she contributes significantly to advancing clinical, health services, and public health research. Dr Chang is also actively involved in various committees and journals, where she champions initiatives focused on equity and diversity in healthcare research.
