Senior Project Officer – Research and Knowledge Translation

Shantelle is a Boorooberongal Darug and English woman who lives and works on Wonnarua Country. She is currently undertaking a dual Master of Public Health and Master of Social Change and Development.

Shantelle’s professional background spans project management, social policy, research, and systems reform across government and the Aboriginal community controlled sector. She has led and supported strategic initiatives focused on organisational transformation and strengthening governance and service systems.

At Lowitja Institute, Shantelle supports the commissioning and translation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led health and wellbeing research. Her work is driven by a commitment to improving Aboriginal health and wellbeing through research, knowledge translation, and systems change.
