Program Manager – Communications and Engagement
Safiah is a Badimaya Yamatji woman born and raised in Boorloo and has connections to Jambinu and Mount Magnet area in Western Australia. Safiah brings experience across communications, community engagement, research, social media and media productions. She has worked with community all over Western Australia, building and driving strength-based strategies for young people. Safiah has a passion for documentary photography and film – documenting, designing, and building stories of Country, connection, and culture is at the core of her work.
Safiah has mainly worked for First Nations non-for-profits based in Victoria in communications, social media and project management.
