Jo Cackett
Executive Manager, Communications and Events
Jo grew up on Wurundjeri Country and specialises in communications and engagement. With a background working for the not-for-profit sector, media and publishing, Jo has experience working in international development, early childhood, health and criminal justice. Jo spent several years working in the UK before returning to Naarm where she worked for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peak body SNAICC – National Voice for our Children before moving to Lowitja Institute. With social science qualifications, Jo is passionate about amplifying the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and community controlled organisations.
